Hi.I’m Rhegz, 29 years of age from Talavera Nueva Ecija, Philippines. I am graduated Business in Information Management. And before I pursue myself to enter in this life of baking I have a job at Watsons Pharmacy as Pharmacy Assistant for almost 5years. I ended my job on last April 2019 to take a rest and to have a baby(hopefully) because I am 15months married on that time and my husband decided to take his vacation(from UAE) . After 4months my husband vacation was ended and no baby was formed(so sad). But on that time I’m still waiting my back pay and separation from my past job, and I’m still thinking if what business that is good or fit to me that will make extra income and to lessen my descend. On August 2019,finally my waiting is over my back pay was released and I decided to bought gas range and baking pan to start and learn how to bake. But I don’t know how to start, I don’t have any idea and experienced in baking. Thanks God, that I have a baker sister in law (Ate Jen of Pazzia Cakes and Cupcakes), I asked her assistance to teach me if how to make a cake, she didn’t hesitate and willing to teach me. First, she send me banana cake recipe for my first try to bake(successful naman)and this is the first time that I made a banana cake for my brother’s birthday. Next, she taught me how to make Yema cake, so I tried to baked vanilla chiffon cake and make a Yema frosting. My family told me that it was good. I faced many trials and challenges, and I want to give up on that time but my sister in law, my husband and my mother motivate and encourage me that I need to be patient because this is my first time to baked. So I decided to continue and pursue this kind of doings, I searched on Youtube and joined in some facebook groups about baking to gained more techniques and ideas. And I asked also my sister in law every time that I don’t know or if I have a problem in my doings. She always ready to help me, So I’m so thankful that I have a kind hearted sister in law(Ate Jen Thank you). After a few months I tried to post it on my facebook account and send a direct message to my friend list and made to order. My few friends ordered and they send their feedbacks that my Yema cake was tastes good(hindi sobrang matamis, hindi nakakaumay). I felt so flattered and happy on their feedbacks. After my Yema Cake was known, I decided to make a flavored cake and icing. I tried to make a boiled icing but it’s too hard, I didn’t meet the exact or right texture, but I don’t want to give up, so I tried it so many times until it was perfect and other soft icing that was fitted to me and to my cakes. After I got right icing I decided to accept an order for customized cakes and cupcakes. Some of my clients sent their preferred designs and I make a costing on it. And my Cakes and cupcakes price range was affordable, because I am happy to served them with my work especially to those people who has no bigger budget for their kids birthday cake. After a few months, I thought that I need to offer other food recipe for additional in my small business. And I learned how to make Puto Puti with a twist, Puto Cake, Pichi pichi, Leche flan. And all of my clients was enjoyed and became my regular clients. That’s why I told myself that I will continue my doings and seek more ideas and techniques to become my small business successful someday and to gain more clients. I named my small business Sranyl’s SWEET Shoppe because it was my husbands name flipped(Lynars) and it will be my son or daughters name someday(in Gods will). Now I improved my baking business to meet my clients expectation and satisfaction. I don’t have own shop now or place but hopefully someday that my small business will become big business in Gods will and in Gods perfect time. I am so grateful and thankful that my small business is well known in my place, and it has a great help to have an extra income and also to help my family everyday cost living. Thank you God for the ability and perseverance that you’ve given to me. Thank you to those people who always supporting me and believing in my creations. Always remember that we need to love and focus on what we do. Don’t ever give up and always pray to God. “Sranyl’s SWEET Shoppe”
